Why this matters:

Participants in the study will help:

  1. Quantify job creation, tax revenue, investment mobilization and innovation driven by Ukrainian-American companies
  2. Showcase success stories across industries — from tech and logistics to food and healthcare
  3. Provide data-driven recommendations to U.S. policymakers
  4. Elevate the profile of the Ukrainian business community through targeted media and government engagement

Study results will be presented at the Ukrainian-American Synergistic Business Forum in Chicago on September 26, 2025.

“We are building the first national economic portrait of Ukrainian-founded businesses in the U.S.—a foundational tool for evidence-based policymaking and diaspora-centered advocacy,” said Alexander Romanishyn, board member of ISE Group. “This data will elevate the visibility of our entrepreneurs, guide targeted programs, investments, and trade policy, and inspire new initiatives that reflect the full value Ukrainian businesses bring to the American economy.”

This initiative is led by ISE Group, a leading innovation think tank, startup accelerator and ecosystem builder, recognized by the Financial Times in 2025 as the leading innovation hub in Europe. Since 2018, ISE has supported more than 2,000 startups, enabling over 90 to scale across the U.S., U.K., Japan, Middle East, Africa, and EU markets. ISE operates at the intersection of entrepreneurship and policy, building globally connected innovation ecosystems.

“This forum has the potential to create significant benefits for both countries, ranging from cultural understanding and civic collaboration to economic development and market expansion.” said Eva Sigaev, president of UACCI. “By supporting this initiative, we can help Ukraine to recover and grow while also creating opportunities for U.S. communities and businesses to engage in dynamic, mutually beneficial partnerships.”

The Ukrainian American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UACCI), headquartered in Chicago, brings together leading professionals and entrepreneurs to support Ukrainian-American business development across the U.S. and Europe.
